Been complaiilning about this asshole drag chair purposely.

Very random sometime at 130 am sometime at 230 am

So difficult to record

Worse still this dude is good friend of resident commitee chairman

So chairman take no actuon dun want to take action just offer me n him go.talk

The asshole scolded n threaten the guards...who wanna meet him ?

Now he purposely drag chair every 30 min

Whart r my options ?

You have no proof he's dragging a chair or any of that sort. So just bend over or move out

Drag a chair over the ceiling.
Or get a broom and start knocking on the ceiling.

The problem is u cant identify which is the culprit because sound can really travel. it could be 2-3 floors above u.

Also it could be water hammer.

Ok, get home theater subwoofer, put at balcony, don't connect satellite speakers, blast play (Costa Del Mar Chillout ) internet radio thorough the subwoofer the moment you hear the noise. Make sure your sub has a rubber pad, or rubber or spiked feet so you don't disturb people downstairs.

Nothing you can do. Can complain but it wont stop. You can place carpet on the floor to absorb sounds from below and drape on ceiling to absorb sounds from above. If all else fails, invest in some good earplugs.

Still facing the same issue for months now? Meet with him and the committee chairman. As for me, I’m still facing the same stomping and jumping noise from the kids upstairs and their parents still don’t care (sometimes they even join in). Think the MCO has made them even more restless and crazy.

Wondering whether I should just go up there again and settle it like adults, or keep hitting the ceiling like a psycho or file a police report.

I’m thinking of getting this to get revenge on my shitty upstairs neighbors. Gave them too many chances already.

When my neighbour commence renovation, the noise was terrible, I tot he was living directly upstairs but who knows, it was 3 level below my unit. Developers these days using hollow bricks and no longer red bricks due to cost cutting. These are things we near to bear with when staying in tall rise residential.

Sometimes could be water pipes

sound of chair dragging and coin /marble dropping could be a sign of water hammer.

shouldn't simply put blame on neighbours and curse them without proof.

Maybe that person not enough chair at home ... have to drag. Consider contribute some chairs.

Honestly, if everyday drag also one feel tired, unless not human.
