how do i know my chinchilla in heat?
last two day i notice that my female chin's anus area was red and abit yellow white liquid material...
i'm worry....so i put water on tisu and clean it..!

i clean the bedding and the anus area with tisu...
if getting serious...what should i do ?
but i dont think my chin is in heat!

1. Do you put your female and male together? If yes, she is abortion.

2. If not, she need a vet- but I just don't know which vet should suggest you to go and I dont encourage you try to apply any medication by yourself, just don't go Animal Centre. Maybe make call to contact local vet you can find.

Erm....now i have two female,the male chin i was change with friend(good friend) two month ago...
that redness anus chin is my friend change with me ......
if say abortion ...maybe not...cause my friend just have one chin...
but now ok already...i clean that area with tisu and some water and i keep changing the bedding...
now seem like ok then if for safety am i need to bring my chin to the vet?

Is good ideal keep changing the bedding to keep your hygeine in top form. Maybe is bcos of they wet bedding causing the problem, just maybe.

About the vet again, I just don't know which vet in is trustable for treating exotic pet especially chinchilla. You can bring to the vet BUT when ever the VET want to use medication or injection, use your wisdom. JUST REMEMBER, 1 of the chin owner here who send his HEALTHY chin to the vet for treating fungus can that lead to death of his chin.
