Why you compare Hisense with Sony, in first place?
You have much better then Hisense....=> TCL 65C725.....RM3.7~3,8K.

According to the link provided, the X85J is not in the supported list. Anyone tried it on X85J ?

Sony WiFi is flaky.

Best you split the WiFi on the router into 2 distinct SSID, then on the Sony side you can connect to 2.4 WiFi or 5G WiFi. Then you know which WiFi which the Sony failed to connect.

Most likely it failed to connect to 5G WiFi.

2.4G WiFi will be more stable but lower speed.

WiFi 5GHz, try to set lower channel in router ....46,42,40, 38...not auto...
