QUOTE(westlife @ Jul 5 2023, 06:26 PM) Could not fight with OLED. I bought the A80J 55-inch at great deal which I am so happy about it. Hahaha. Most importantly it is brand new and not demo set. How much did you bought it? I bought my 55in X90K early this year at RM4.2k. I saw A80J but still expensive ~Rm5k and I afraid of the burn in problem bcoz my parent always watch drama with WeTV logo from morning until night. |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Jul 11 2023, 03:24 PM) Nah they are still top even in HDR. Only applies to their miniLED and high end OLEDs though I have the X90K (never tried the X90L) it has decent black level for most of the time but I do notice the blooming but I'm not bothered by it. I don't think it's worth the price over the X90K based on reviews from youtube.Their XR FALD model (X90L) is still very good actually, this year model is actually a signifcant improvement from last year K model. Just the pricing issue which is typical Sony |

QUOTE(Created On 21/1/2021 @ Jul 31 2023, 11:41 AM) Finally my X90k arrived. Any tips and tricks in the setting I should know to get the best out of this TV? The PQ setting out of the box is good enough IMO. I only changed the sound setting and uninstall some useless apps. BTW, how much did you get your X90K?This post has been edited by lotiman2003: Jul 31 2023, 12:04 PM |

QUOTE(Mart @ Aug 7 2023, 02:22 PM) Actually what's the real benefit of x85 vs x90 ? I mean, i heard of the FALD & XR processor, other than that im not sure other significance. There are a few things I chose X90K over X85K.Is the extra RM600-700 for x90 really worth it ? Unfortunately i have not seen a real life of both TV in a side by side comparison. Youtube comparison just mention technical difference but i dont find the difference like its night and day kind of diff. 1) FALD - the PQ is noticeable better on HDR content. Even some youtube contents look better. 2) Extra 2 tweeter speakers. I seldom on my soundbar at night so the extra speakers do help. It has surround sound feel. 3) Adjustable TV stand to accommodate soundbar. X85K doesn't have this feature. 4) XR processor which supposedly do better job in up-scalling. 5) True 4K 120Hz panel. |

QUOTE(donkeydoink @ Aug 9 2023, 05:10 AM) Try SENHENG. You can get extra 1year warranty and points for your next purchase. I bought it at RM4299 early this year and the point collected can be used to exchange for RM250 cash rebate. I even get RM150 trade in for my old kaput Sony TV. |

QUOTE(Created On 21/1/2021 @ Aug 13 2023, 12:36 PM) Whenever the subtitles pops up, my screen automatically increase the contract and brightness, it makes the subtitle blooms which is very distracting. There's a setting to disable the auto brightness. Sorry I can't remember the setting name but it's something about auto dim/power saving. There is also a micro stuttering on the screen when the subtitle is displaying. Any idea which setting I should turn off? |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Oct 17 2023, 12:40 PM) Fortunately I didn't need the service yet, but this is what the seller told me when I was deciding between A80K vs C2... he told me the Sony aftersales is top notch compared to LG's. Ya, I was really surprised by their efficiency. A few days after my case settled, Sony HQ called me to ask about their service and also to rate the service provided by the customer and tech support. celciuz liked this post

QUOTE(Tsting @ Nov 10 2023, 01:53 PM) Looking at these 3 models, since all are around the same price (<5,000). I own an X90K, a full-array LED TV, and I wouldn't consider switching to a TV without local dimming. In response to your query, yes, it's definitely worth it to get the X85L. Nevertheless, opting for a 65-inch TV would be a more suitable decision given your distance of 2.8 meters. My place is relatively small. Only about 2.8 metres from head distance on sofa to TV. Any recommendation? 55" X85L 65" X80L 75" X77L (this cost RM300 more than the other 2) The 55" X85L comes with full Array LED. Is it worth to go smaller just for this feature? Not much gaming. Mainly TV and Movies (streaming) This post has been edited by lotiman2003: Nov 10 2023, 05:36 PM colins and jimbet1337 liked this post
