(cannot comment on that) . So i just give simple example. I never see any server room (computer) using
fan... all using aircon. I means good company@firm..not that lousy one...
even we (my company) advised customer to run our machine in air conditioned room.
TESTED and PROVEN to make your stuff (especially electronic) to last longer and prevent
damage.
fan also can cool down the temprature but it have one drawback -> dust
so i don't think using air con can spoilt electronic stuff

It is a good practise to have air con in your room living room.
p/s : but remember, to much air con not good for you health either
