well i kept mine on the open with a aircorn blasting on it most of the time. But I think I should consider about on standby mode

not advisable to have any eletronic devices under extreme change of temperature, i.e. blasting ur Wii with aircon.

'cos by doing so, u r making ur Wii, really cool, the moment u turned off ur air-con, ur room temperature will rise, and condensation kicks in, and ur cold wii will be wet.

remember... that applies to all ur electronic devices.

use fan better.

I believed u've mistaken my statement... doh.gif

I'm not saying air-con will spoil your electronic devices. I'm saying CHANGES of temperature DRASTICLY will cause CONDENSATION, which may/will WET ur electronic devices. sweat.gif

& u've oredi said it...SERVER ROOM.

ALL Server room is 24x7 aircon environment (I nvr come across any server room isn't 24x7 air-conned) ... no drastic change of temperature. smile.gif

and YES, u & ur company did the right thing by advising ur clients to run machines in an aircon environment. thumbup.gif

however, we are talking about home here... which is not like office, i.e. 10-12 hrs air con.
