For SUV Toyota Harrier
OEM is Bridgestone Ecopia H/L 422 Plus
235/55R18

1) Bridgestone Alenza 001 - nearby shops all no stock (Klang Valley)
2) Michelin Primacy 4 - either 225/55R18 or 235/60R18 only

Prefer Michelin or Bridgestone from past experience but open to suggestions

Any suggestions for comfort/long-distance driving?
Looking for something that will last longer, not really sporty/racer type

Recommendation:
1) Toyo Proxes CR1 SUV
No experience using it yet. This tyre is too new in the market and most of the review available now are paid reviews.

2) Nexen N’fera RU1 SUV
Really comfortable and absorbs bump well. It has good treadwear and surprisingly affordable but don’t expect sticky rubber in the wet. Good load index rating.

It’s being used as OE fitment for Porsche Macan although I couldn’t associate this tyre as sporty.

Previous experience: Hankook Ventus Prime 2
Bumpy and bad wet performance. It has SUV size but it is not designed specifically for SUV like the models above. Short life, only around 40k mileage. I found the Nexen a much better buy at the same price.

P/S: I would repeat purchase of the Nexen but as a curious kitty, I’d like to try out the newly launched Toyo Proxes CR1 SUV as our Malaysia prince of drift tengku djan highly recommend for its comfort and assuring characteristic. Seems to hit SUV owners at the right spot. Pssst… although this tyre is the newest in the lot, it is also the most affordable of them all! Probably have something to do with the cost saved from manufacturing to shipping as it is made in Malaysia.

Wow interesting, need to check them out first
But are they good for basic long-distance driving?
Which shop did you go to, if you don't mind sharing? I'm based in KL, but don't mind travelling a bit after MCO is over

Long distance is seamless and comfortable. Pretty much good enough for suv everyday driving and the cheap price tag is a godsend bonus. My only gripe with this tyre is its wet grip but then again, maybe only Michelin pilot sport kind of tyre can satisfy me.

I changed the Nexen N’fera RU1 SUV at Sunway Tek Ming. Previous set was changed at Sri Petaling Nexen Drive in centre but this shop is not recommended because they will try to rip you off with chamber nut and other typical tyre shop con job nonsense.

Just change my SUV Tyre to Nexen N’fera RU1 225/60 R18 at OS TYRE. Year made 2022. It cost me RM465/ donut. Seller recommended this brand coz the traction rating is AA and its value for money. Can immediately feel the quality of this tyre probably its still new:

RU1 now price up a lot, not sure if the latest price worth the value or not.
Base on today market a lot of people are recommending Falken FK510/ZE310 as value buy.
