Hi Guys,

Was feeling very sad of the current arcade situation in Penang.
Most of the arcades (Queensbay and Gurney from CYC, Prangin Mall from Classic, Old One Stop area from 2000s, Sunshine Square from 2000s) are dead and the few that still survives (Cobay Tesco & Sunway, Virtualand Megamall) are literally small and insignificant compared to the good old days.

Therefore, I have this urge to open a small arcade store (maybe in QB since the daily headcount is quite higher and have cinemas).
Was wondering anyone knowing any suppliers or agents that can help import arcade cabinets (websites would be greatly appreciated) directly from Japan?

My initial plans are thinking solely on Rhythm games (Taiko, Project Diva, MaiMai, Wacca, Ongeki, Chunithm, Sound Vortex, Groover coaster, Dance Rush Stardom, Beat Saber Arcade).
If the response and business is good, will increase the varieties.

Any help would be appreciated guys rclxm9.gif

Ok idea..but it would be quite hard, and at the current time where people can hardly go out now.
Check if there are any similar service in facebook page and see how they do it,i suggest Raretech on facebook where he had experience on making rhythm game controller.

I've sent you a PM to get in details regarding this topic, but i will try to TLDR at here as exposure to the public. (yes arcade games do need more public exposure although its an expensive hobby)

Konami (Konami games generally, Sound Voltex, Beatmania IIDX, Dance Rush, etc) - You will be guaranteed to get cabs that are made in Japan which equivalent into expensive cabs due to usage of quality parts.

Uniana - Konami's 3rd party manufacturer from Korea, uses lower quality parts which equivalent into cheaper cabs, they tend to carry wide range of music game you can think of in the market that is allowed to publish into the international market.

Feel free to email them to get more details on the pricing, and good luck with your venture into arcade business, our music game group will be your first batch of customer to come to pay a visit when you finally open door for business. biggrin.gif
