Want to ask, the loan insurance will require us to check medical of got for eg high blood pressure?
Possible to exempt it or how to reduce the insurance cost?
Checkup is necessary for MRTA/MLTA (or takaful version for islamic loan) as it's life insurance, so if you have serious illness or are considered "at risk" the premium will be higher or they'll add something like "cannot be paid if TPD or death from X disease". Also if you didn't declare/didn't give honest medical history, insurance company may forfeit insurance payout entirely if you decide to claim and they find out.Possible to exempt it or how to reduce the insurance cost?
You can choose to not take MRTA, but bank might make you pay higher loan interest rate. You can negotiate down if you're able to find a matching loan offer from other bank with no MRTA.
