Why change name to Bahasa Melayu?, Last time it was Bahasa Malaysia

The irony is that today most of the original Malay words we learnt in school has been replaced with English-ciplaked words by changing the spelling of English words to make it "Malaynized". And that becomes "bahasa melayu".
And thus MILO stick pack in English became MILO Stikpek.  Attached thumbnail(s)
