If you absolutely need it right away, ie for work & such...then get it. if not, if you're buying cause there's some promos or just can't wait to get ur hands on a Mac....please wait. it's not every year apple releases a new os, plus it's not much further away. even if you can afford to cough up the extra $$ in order to upgrade to leopard later, it's not worth it....imho...
