if you buy US based S&P 500 ETF e.g. SPY etc you will also get 30% tax on your dividends by US gov (even if it is accumulative).

hence buy Irish domiciled types on IBKR such as CSPX, VUAA. No 30% on dividends by US since it is based in UK.

sold off majority of my Apple stocks liao while it is 210+ and bought NVIDIA shares instead.

now it is high due to stock buyback from Apple. But it's unsustainable as the biz itself is just barely hitting the forecasts for their profit.

year end will rise as usual when new iphone models out, then back down again.

They need something to really boost their biz. Maybe make iphones less expensive already to jack up demand.

Moomoo still worth using? Few days ago my friend cucuk me by saying the FX conversion rate in Moomoo sucks and that is how they scam our money there.

I recall the conversion is OK as the difference of using Moomoo and IBKR rate is almost same after factoring paying Wise for the transfer fees?

I'm using both personally but not sure if I should put in more funds into Moomoo.
