Watched the iPad Pro 2021 slot from the event, Awesome upgrade.

But my MAIN concern is,

can it support external monitor and extend the desktop? if can't at least mirror the iPad Pro 2021 and WITHOUT the black bars on the side.

yup. lucky i did not buy the 11-inch 2020 version. I actually bought it but luckily i returned in the end.

finally this year ipad pro no need to think also can buy liao. haha.

now in a dilemma of whether to go for 12.9-inch becos of the display but think likely will not becos it is way too big. i still want my ipad to be 'portable'.

I would also like to see myself in person how much improvement is the mini led display as the current display is very good already. My current iPad pro basically does not leave my bed as it is for consumption use only.

agreed. i may not even use my ipad pro outdoor. ipad mini maybe. haha.

so if it is really use for bed time maybe 12.9-inch is also possible. but still i am more towards 11-inch. haha.

The current generation Air is practically the same chasis as ipad pro 11.

IMO, cannot la.. even 11” is borderline…but still doable.

Its the same weight as the 1st generation iPad. If you can use the 1st generation ipad, sure you can use ipad 12.9 now. But this is definitely a two-handed divice.

yeah. super heavy. more than half a kg to hold on hand to watch videos in bed also very difficult.

ipad pro 11-inch 468g i still can accept. haha. it is 5g lighter this year. haha.

not sure should go for 1TB for the 16GB ram inside vs 8GB ram for the lower end model or not...

128GB with 8GB of RAM
256GB with 8GB of RAM
512GB with 8GB of RAM
1TB with 16GB of RAM
2TB with 16GB of RAM

I used the the 2nd generation ipad for a few years which was 607g. I would like to try 12.9 this time which is 80g heavier. Size does matter.

Unless you use for content creation like video editing, i dont see the need for so much Ram and Rom. My current ipad pro 256GB still not yet fill 100GB after 3 years.

i also have ipad 2 previously. it was heavy ever since i switched to ipad mini 1, 2 and 3. ipad mini 3 (current).

true also. iphone i would love to go for 1TB or even 2TB version.

but ipad indeed even 128GB is quite ok for me. haha. but will go for 256gb still becos of the small price gap.
