cheaper meh, the prices are increasing actually from the last last time i bought mine. Mach-1 is better, but its more than twice the price of DASH..if ur going to Mach, ur better off getting hakko 936 solder station, good perfomance for the price (around twice the price of Mach series).

was proposing that, rather than he go and get Mach series, better get Dash, i haf been using dash for the past 4 years and the tips are still 90% good.

truee truee, however, up until now..

DASH 25W - RM90
Solder Stand - RM10
Sanwa CD800A - RM180
Pliers+Cutters+Tweezer - RM40
Solder Sucker - RM10

That was then..haha!

936 Hakko - RM410
Hakko Sucker - RM25
Fluke 111 - FREE (curi from office)
Pliers+Cutters+Tweezer - RM40

Power suplly and all, i just make one when i need one. Also i mount a 9cm dc fan on a bent out wire hanger and it works as my fume extractor extremely well 9though ulgee). No more hangovers from solder fumes sad.gif tats sad..

..that will only help in speedy ac spike in the electrical line. And also, STEPS has a small line conditioner at the input, the capacitors at LIFE-EARTH and NEUTRAL-EARTH.
