not so sure which is the best brand for it... as my house water pressure is quite low..
and my bath room's water supply is actually direct from the tank..not direct water..

Don't be too trusting with some brands on the market that has a country flag on it or some sales talk its Made in some EU country.. fact is..perhaps the heater element or thermostat is made in some reputable country. The rest of the parts are likely local manufacture and questionable quality. I've heard of many owners who make a warranty claim when it goes defective, and the dealer or agent Ah chee Ah Chaw with them and gives the impression of being uncooperative. When selling to you, they promise you heaven, earth, sun, moon & stars all in a neat package..SALES TALK only! Its sometimes I despise local business strategies and promises..typical 4th world practice!

Stick to a well established brand like National Panasonic and no doubt it may not be the best or cheapest prices but I'm confident its well backed up and a well designed product..just like their rice cooker.. Who's really complaining of their rice cookers for past 4 decades..hardly anyone!

Ok..I'm not pimping for National or have anything to do with them..neither are they bribing me to say anything. I'm just another satisfied customer with 3 units in the house..used to the point of abuse!.

Pssst.. my recent visit to a authorised National dealer at SS2 PJ to buy a table lamp bulb revealed their discounted prices anytime better than supermarket prices.. go check it out!.. Its along the main SS2/PJ road.

eddychstu: Me still using the Oly camera you sold to me... still going strong!.. thumbup.gif
The National heater model with pump has recently been upgraded to less noisy and durable type..so that dealer tells me.. afterall got warranty mah!. I'll certainly change mine in due course..but don't know when it'll kaput!..already 8 years old..(without pump of course..old model!)

when comes to something you use daily, better go for durability over design, just 2cents

Can still buy the replacement cover from National Panasonic service center or order through Kedai National..as long as same diameter, it'll work well.. Rice cooker hasn't changed much other than its appearance.

Whatever it is.. ensure one's water pressure is strong. The weaker the pressure is, your shower will be somewhat hotter but you must cleverly control the thermostat to get comfortable temp.
One more thing.. I think National packs the best looking or most durable shower head assembly compared to competitors..based on what I've seen.. worth the money you pay!..

I strongly believe in quite a few household products from National..of course NOT A FAN of all of them..but water heater, fridge, washing machine, blender, clothes iron, maybe a few other gadgets I trust always!..
Its like for TV..I go for only SONY, Water heater = National, Car = BMW.. brows.gif

Eddy: OT: mostly take pics of objects and occasional indoor shoots...sorry..nothing great to show..that's why I didn't need a fancy up-to-date camera's that people are so crazy about.. 3.2mpixs..good enough for me..

had been doing survey on all the brands' name for the water heater... prices almost in the same range with those which the pump is built in.. the only thing the Panasonic come with lower noise at around 42db. That will cost ard RM550 to 600..but of course haven't bargain la'..

Another one is the Alpha.. the pump can be switch off whenever the water pressure is high.. and on when the water pressure is low..in another word, the pump is built in but optional whether you want to use the pump or not. rclxms.gif

think i will go for panasonic... rclxms.gif
