i think it depends more on your motherboard (ram, notrhbridge, etc.). as for concern on the case, i'm using cooler master hyper 212, it's 1 inch away from the bottom of psu, and 1 inch away from the case side panel. the shinobi's side panel has 2 ventilators... bottom one is pre-installed with a fan blowing directly at the gc, the top one opens directly on top of the cpu, and is pre-installed with a shroud. you need to remove the shroud, and my hyper 212 is 1 inch away from the ventilator. so when you look at the side panel, you can actually see the top of your cooler, which is nice, especially my hyper 212 has 2 led fans blowing in push-pull config smile.gif although there's no transparent side panel, these 2 ventilators allow you to peek inside and you can see most parts of your mb. the pre-installed side fan has transparent blades

Added on April 1, 2008, 12:22 ambtw for your back-side hs i'm not sure how you're gonna mount it so i can't comment. pls check out the height of hyper 212 in cooler master website for you to compare with your ifx14, i need to go to sleep liao tongue.gif

i helped my fren with his shinobi the fan sensor need to be fitted into either fan 3 pin plugfor any fan for eg your hsf plug it in, unless u r running on stock hsf which has 4 pin then its imposible. the fan speed can be controlled from the front. thank god it does not have a tranparent side panel if not cable mgmt is a nightmare. icon_idea.gif
