remember the flood in china last year? their "entertainment show" purposely come out all their conspiracy theories about gorges dams collapse etc. no sympathy on the flood victims at all.

The design of Taiwan railway track is unsafe & old design.
Railway track need to be elevated like china HSR. Vehicle can only passed beneath the railway.

Worst design is when the track is on the same level as the road & a slow moving runaway vehicle can blocked the track.

For Taiwan case, road also not same level. The vehicle had slipped down a steep embankment onto the train tracks.

Even China HSR also get accident.

this one more like our Komuter.

i believe most HSR track are on elevated track and pagar.

do japan also got train tracks same level as normal roads? cross path

If something drop down from hill, not only maintenance vehicle but also rock, land slide etc. It will be same case.

If somewhere on flat land, of course can make elevated above everything.
