How We know the LCD is Which Panel?

i planning to get 1 samsung 226 BW, but i duno the shop sell 1 is what panel model ..
how we going to know ?

i think it's like this:
set contrast and brightness to 0%
press menu
press source for bla3 seconds

someone can clarify this..hehe..

the sticker behind the panel also tells.

if ur concerned bout panels, get the new 2232 swan series (better) or wait for 226CW

i'm planning to get 226bw too...waiting for money...argh why delayed..
2232? but i dont really like the design :sigh:

Yup after that press source for 5 seconds,not 3.And u will see a hidden service menu,on there there got list the panel type,example LSXME,AU with the serial number like that .

S is the best LCD panels. But can I find out which panel from the box itself?
