QUOTE(Pennywise @ Nov 18 2007, 01:08 AM) Added on November 18, 2007, 1:09 am ihawk98, Very cute Buffy. She looks a lot like Moonie, their face more splat (kemek) one. Where did you get her from and what's the price? Mind sharing? as for Buffy, we had Puppy Cottage (in TTDI) help source for a female for us and they got this one from a breeder in Ipoh. her price is over 3K.... |

QUOTE(Digitral @ Nov 18 2007, 11:30 AM) Until now i still haven't went Puppy cottage have a look . what we like about Puppy Cottage is their boarding service. if your dog socializes well, the way they let boarding dogs run around the shop is really nice rather than keeping them in a cage the whole day.but i like the puppy cottage signboard..got a king charles there |

QUOTE(lilcatty @ Nov 18 2007, 11:38 PM) ahhh forgot to mention yesterday went to pets lover centre (pet safari) at pyramid, saw them selling west highland terrier!!! only rm1.9k, quite cheap compare to champion lineage i think.. so cute lerh him this is very cheap, about the same price as buying from Thailand. curious if it has an MKA cert though. there was a Westie available from a classified ad 2 weeks ago and selling at 1.8k but no cert though. |

QUOTE(Pennywise @ Nov 20 2007, 09:08 PM) You can go to Dr. Lian clinic. It's at the row of shop opposite of the wet market (I know you know where's this) or diagonally opposite of Klang Parade. thanks for this. i will check out Dr Lian this weekend. do you know if he is open on sunday? From Klang Parade (Klang Parade on your right), drive straight like you're going back to Setia Alam along Jalan Meru. Go pass Klang Parade, pass Telekom, pass wet-market, keep left, turn in to take the inner road along the road you were on and then lookout for Klinik Haiwan Dr. Lian. They are quite OK, I feel a bit pricey but in Klang, I would consider them better and more gentle towards our doggies compared to Dr. Thomas at Taman Gembira. If you want cheaper, go to Mayo Clinic at Taipan Subang, same row with Victoria Station. |

QUOTE(Pennywise @ Nov 26 2007, 07:23 PM) Wahhh... that bad ah? I think Dr Siah is more gentle than Dr Lian wan lor. I am not sure but my dogs never scream or cannot-walk after any jab. I guess that gave u a very bad impression of the clinic eh? Sorry man, you can try Mayo then, that's what White Palace and everyone else recommended me in Taipan USJ. i wouldn't say bad impression la. due to its proximity to me, i will probably go again for Buffy's 3rd vaccination next month. |

QUOTE(Pennywise @ Dec 5 2007, 07:51 AM) Hun, hey pennywise, how did you get your puppy westie to stop biting things (e.g. leaves from plants, curtains, my pants when i am wearing them, my toes)?Chelsea looks so good in the red kimono, look like a princess with long hair (ears). I especially like your dog eyes, very cute!! Talking about toys, I bought a soft toy for Casper and Moonie from Pet Safari. Give Casper one day, tomorrow the head tear, brain come out, eyes drop off, body pecah, intestine all come out... brain and intestine actually cotton la. Moonie's one, I keep and only let her play with it when watching her, dont dare put in the cage liao, dunno will tear into how many pieces. |

QUOTE(Pennywise @ Dec 10 2007, 11:36 PM) Another thing I'd like to ask is dog MKA cert. Buffy's cert is also not ready. Puppy Cottage told me they will call me when they get the cert from the breeder which they estimate is about 6 months from birth date.Moonie borned on 15th August 2007. I bought her home on ~15th October 2007. Today, I called to ask the breeder (a family friend) and he said the MKA cert not ready, told me it possibly may take up another 1 and 1/2 months... Does it usually take so long? but hmmm, Buffy has her microchip already when i bought her.... This post has been edited by ihawk98: Dec 11 2007, 03:05 PM |

QUOTE(Pennywise @ Dec 31 2007, 11:06 AM) ihawk98, hi pennywise, yes, the dogs are registered under her name. dr lian went to Hin Hua high school with my wife's elder brother but i don't think she remembers my wife (who also attended the same school)... I went to Dr Lian clinic and saw that in the system, it shows your wife's name I think with Buffy and Sparky names. Anyway, the reason Sparky is licking his paws till its red is because of weather and environment. My gf's Japanese Spitz from Australia, used to have that problem but it got better by treating it with a medicated shampoo called MALASEB. I think you can find this in Dr. Lian shop. First, you take the MALASEB and dillute it with water and then rub on the red paws (the part that's affected), rub for 10 minutes so it touches and then let it sip for 5 - 10 minutes, then wash it off properly. If Sparky starts to lick again after you wash, you have to stop him cause it's poisonous. Good luck! thanks for the tip about Malaseb. will check it out next time. |

QUOTE(Pennywise @ Jan 4 2008, 06:14 PM) RM85 for basic grooming - shower, clean ears, cut paw hair, cut butt hair, shave ears. Not full grooming. One groomer was nice enough to snip a bit and trim for Casper. The other just didnt trim Moonie at all. So can say one groomer was more hardworking than the other. i had Sparky groomed by Puppy Cottage for the 1st time this past weekend. it was convenient since i boarded Buffy and him there as we were heading out of town. the cut was quite nice i have to say. they charged RM80 for Sparky. |
