Games probably the last of its kind to not fully utilize all the cores. Cinebench for the win.

Ryzen has the advantage in desktop but in laptop the Intel is still competitive aside from battery life.

QUOTE(bibiWong @ Mar 29 2021, 03:00 PM) ROFLMAO.use mid range AMD chip vs Intel's highest end chip. That Jarrod Tech guy has a hard boner for Intel, and it shows. A lot of his recent videos are all twisting to show Intel in a better light. |

Tell me which one is higher end than 5800Huse mid range AMD chip vs Intel's highest end chip. That Jarrod Tech guy has a hard boner for Intel, and it shows. QUOTE(xyrotix @ Mar 30 2021, 10:26 AM) mid range AMD chip ? lmao its literally the 2nd best mobile amd currently thats only 3% behind a ryzen 9 5900H. Twisting facts? Every intel fanbois will jump in joy after watching this video. Of course Youtubers would need to milk some attention. Why don't you post Hardware Unboxed's video on the subject as well? They hold no punches, even NVidia threatened to boycott them for not falling in You are the one twisting thing here. Its mobile i7 vs mobile ryzen 7 H. Totally fair comparison here. QUOTE(uberon @ Mar 30 2021, 10:31 AM) Why not take the best of both AMD and Intel? Intel's 10980HK, and then AMD has their 5980HX. Even then, the comparisons would be not "fair", because of various baseline issues, like a) can both (regardless any chip) be locked and measured at a single TDP point? (Intel motherboard TDP guidance has always been ignored so that the chip draws more power for performance) b) same RAM, same GPU (this is also problematic as people do understand RAM timings affect both chips differently, and now AMD has this RAGE / SAM mode, even if it doesn't work with NVidia GPU, it doesn't mean AMD hasn't taken steps to enable Resizable-BAR support with Nvidia, again, another issue) c) price tier issues (even if you assume MSRP issue) Just like Intel fanbois called out various other videos where Youtubers used Intel 10870 (and not 10875) chips against AMD's 5800H (which isn't even "second best", but its definitely one of the more, if not the most popular chip used in a lot of so called 'high-end' laptops), I think AMD fanbois definitely got this one right. But just to humour you, if we're looking at Intel 10785H, I think the equivalent on AMD's side should be the 5900H. The 5900HX variant could also fit in, but I hold reservations about the 5900HX due to some factors. |
