How do we end user knows they are or they are not authorised dealers? Normally they will only shows us the warranty card after we purchase from them

Legend say one thing and do another thing ... called them and they told me got Pioneer stock and the price quoted me much lower than Pioneer Malaysia gave me ... purposely went to SS2 from Cyberjaya (thought can get a cheap deal) ... asked them got Warranty card from Pioneer Malaysia ... they said yes ... asked them where is the service centre ... they said Seapark

on the spot I re-confirmed the price and the stock with them ... they said the same ... I asked them when can I have it ... they said tomorrow ... I told them I want to get 3 units and I make payment now ... the person then make a call ... later they told me no more stock ... ask me to get another model

I then called Pioneer Malaysia about the case (the boss laugh at me) ... they told me Legend is not an authorized dealer, they have to get the thing from other places and most likely warranty card is not from Pioneer Malaysia, and the model I want already out of stock in retail outlets ... and they had received numerous incidents from customers who bought from Legend ... cause no warranty card from Pioneer Malaysia ... at the end customers have to pay extra fee

I then asked Pioneer Malaysia to fax me the list of authorized dealers ...

TBM is Pioneer authorized dealer, I have talked to Pioneer Malaysia about them ... Pioneer Malaysia said their reputation and service quality is good ... I went to TBM Cheras twice, deal with Mr. Chin and our forumer adrian0229 ... asked them about the Pioneer model that I want ... they told me no more stock ... I even requested them to let me review any products before I make decision to buy it ... they helped me without hesitate

I would say they are friendly, honest and have confident on their service

If TBM do the same as Legend, I will be the first one call Pioneer Malaysia to blacklist them

so not worry to buy anything from TBM ...

Not supporting Legend or anything (haven't dealt with them before) but one problem with TBM is that they're EXPENSIVE! The Panasonic 700MK I went asking around for was still 3999 there when it was 2999 or less almost everywhere else. Well, they are giving away a free camera to go with it worth few hundred bucks, but it's kinda retarded that they can't take it out if I don't want it. What I am going to do with the bloody camera, take pictures of the TV?
