Hai guys, i need help...

My VIOS 2012 got overheat issues, coolant from engine got push into spare tank.
Means engine got empty but spare tank full. the coolant do not rotate back to engine. i have to topup engine coolant manualy.

1. I went to OFFICIAL Toyota SC, they said the radiator fan got problem, so need to change motor and blade. No leaking, pressure test also OK.

2. Then i went to other NOT OFFICIAL Toyota SC, they said change waterpump, thermostat, clean radiator. Fan is OK, No Leaking. I also thing fan is OK since i test it myself.

So i did No. 2, Change waterpump, thermostat, clean radiator and new coolant. But after few days overheat issues happened again.

Now im ready to change the Radiator Fan.

anyone had the same experience and know the solution? please let me know...

from my googleling most suggest No. 2, that why i did that.

yup NCP 93 model got this problem, I've encountered before 3 years ago. Changed radiator fan and also some other things. Bill was a hefty one ~1k from Toyota SC but now all SC become dealer own dealer operate already so no more UMW quality. That was the final time entering Toyota SC, better get the service done outside and cheaper too.

There was a problem with a minor vibration when the fan kicks in, juddering for a short while then goes off. After that spare parts replacement no more already. It's a small issue but needs attention, consider cheap since it's only one time issue.

That dugong Vios god car, will be keeping since it's almost bulletproof and very less issue.

Additional. Do check the aircon fan compressor clutch...is also a known issue for replacement after so many years running. Get the one from Denso and you're good to go.

I faced this before too
check engine oil, most probably become brown colour
observe reserve tank, got bubbles coming out from tube or not, suspected engine head warped, engine coolant leaking into engine or gas from inside engine leaking into rediator
for me, I overhall the engine and everything back to normal.

Head warped. Need to do a top overhaul.

Do a compression test on all 4 cylinders first to verify.

For 8 years never services/repair outside, all at Official Toyota SC, but only this time the answer do not convinced me, since the fan is working when i test it.
But i will refer them back and change the fan.
