Hi everyone. May i know is the Oneplus 9 Pro perform now? Does it still suffer battery drain and overheating issue?

Now most flagship phone become affordable already, having hard time to choose. My option are,

Oneplus 9 Pro (SD888) = RM3199
Galaxy S21 Plus (Exynos 2100) = RM3299
Vivo X60 Pro (SD870) = RM3099
Asus Zenfone 8 Flip (SD888) = RM2999
Mi 11 = dont like miui
Oppo Find X3 Pro = Overbudget

I regretted to get oneplus 8t... should go for s21 plus for better camera and update.

Out of 6 devices, 4 I have used and all 4 has got different level of overheating and battery draining issues lol. Over a long time period I can only comment on oneplus 9 pro and it has definitely gotten better. But still not ideal.

This year's flagship processor really fail to deliver. Since its already September, why not wait for next year's model if you can.

Anyway oppo is having promotion for find x3 pro for 9.9. Take a look at Shopee and lazada.

If i could stretch budget for S21 Ultra Exynos variant, would it be recommended?

1 things i like the Oneplus 9Pro is the camera got Macro mode with it Ultrwide lens. Sadly the 21plus doesn't have it and need to go for 21ultra instead if one would need to have macro photography.

Ah, I see. However, it's imported set with warranty under Seven Mobile ya.

Others may say otherwise, but I wouldn't ever recommend an exynos phone (at least until today)

Other things aside, I can never accept samsung because of its slow charging speed. So in case you are used to 60w charging or your charging pattern requires fast charging, then dun bother considering samsung.

If oneplus 9 pro macro mode interests you, then the microscope camera on the find x3 pro is another level

Mine is on 11.2.8.8. Decent, definitely not good battery price. But understandable since running on qhd and 120hz all the time. Even Huawei flagship (which used to have great battery life) suffers from this.

Ya 24 month warranty from seller shop.

But the official Oneplus MY warranty also not that good, so i wouldn't reckon to get from them plus the over expensive compared to the parallel import. So greedy!

The X3 microscope is too much. Haha. I saw the review. I mostly use macro to take some close up shop eg:food, stuff like rings, watch, those normal phone unable to capture properly with high quality.

So the Oneplus 9 Pro and S21 Ultra seem does the perfect job for my needs.

If charging speed and price is not an issue, and you value software experience, update and stuff like that then by all means just get the S21 ultra.

I can start to feel the poison coursing through the veins. It's a good option nevertheless. Didn't see official MY set for the 9 Pro since the 1st launch, not sure what happened.

This price is bloody tempting. So end up last night i spend few hours watching reviews on it.
But the problems rise, the phone easily get hot and battery life not so good.
Then it make me thinking, maybe i should go for the oneplus 8 which will be on sale for 1699 malaysia set for 8+128..
