Hi all

Everytime my girlfriend on her period she will be in verh pain and very difficult to even sleep
I tried to buy her bak foong pills from eu yan sang and eat everyday before and after he period for almost 2 months now
But she still suffer from the pain

She is vegetarian and hardly eat fried or spicy and very very minimum of cold stuff.

Her period come sharply every month and never miss, she will suffer the pain for about 16 to 24 hours then her period will finish quickly.

Any idea what i can do for her? I tried different ways.. giving her chocolate and drinks

But she's very painful..
I will bring her to consult doctor if nothing work out

Pls consider accompanying her to consult a gynae a.s.a.p. She needs to do check up, an by a pro/gynae to really diagnose what is the root cause for the period pain. This is the least you can do for her.

Also, start reading up on endometriosis. Girls themselves don't know any better. I have been thru this with my wife. The earlier you/her know the better it is for both of you.

If possible, skip traditional chinese medicine for now until pro/gynae can advice better. Bak foong pills may or may not help if her condition is due to endometriosis, and I think it is the latter. I can't stress on this enough; go consult a gynae PRONTO. DON'T procrastinate any more.

My fiancee also like that. She went to the gynae for a check. They say it is due to the wall thickening or something like that. To alleviate of the pain, she will need to go through a surgery to remove the flesh of her uterus or sth like that. However it isn't permanent and it will grow back after a few years. The only way to permanent rid of this issue is to get pregnant.

For now, she's using painkillers to alleviate the pain.

As per my wife's gynae, this situation is called endometriosis, as shared earlier. Hopefully info shared can create awareness among those who read it and help bring relieve to those who suffer from it.
