Try a short course of Celebrex (celecoxib),
the second generation antiinflammatory drug,
which you can buy from any pharmacy.

It's not cheap, about $3.50 a capsule, 200 mg.

To save cost, if the pain is not that bad, buy
empty capsules, open up the Celebrex capsule,
and pour about half into the empty capsule, to
give about 100 mg.

(They don't bring in the 100 mg capsule here.)



You could also try the older generation painkillers
as mentioned in these studies -

Ponstan (mefenamic acid)
Naprosyn (naproxen)

However, these may cause gastric troubles,
so take with an antacid , Tagamet/Zantac
or pantoprazole (Controloc).
