 WTA GPU service, replace thermal paste and thermal pad

Evening, where can i send my gpu for service, because i want to change my thermal paste as well as thermal pad (depend on its condition).

i stay in melaka (melaka tengah and jasin), can recommend someone/shop that is good at gpu service?

dont want diy, cause lack of confidence. my card is asus strix 1080

Asus, better you try to rma it if there's warranty left. Changing paste and pads will void the warranty.

i wouldnt recommend to open GPU up unless you confirm that you have problem running it stock .. i.e 3 yrs ago u run well on stock setting.. but now it crash/hang..

it wouldnt increase the performance

Stop fear mongering. Regular maintenance i.e changing thermal paste and pads & cleaning/dusting are all recommended practices on GPUs.
Not to mention changing thermal paste is basically zero risk.

Even if your GPU is not suffering from any thermal throttling issues, changing paste and pads every few years will significantly improve your GPU temps, though I would say regular cleaning would have a greater impact on keeping temps low.
