u tried the themes creator yet? it can use mp3 as ringtone (newer se phones) but if you force to put it to your S700... maybe got hope?

Yes. menu modding is possible. but myself havnt try it.
yesterday just mod my CID52 K800 acoustic with
zapf v2 sunfire 7 and zapf megabass v6.
loudspeaker much louder and headset got more bass...

if want loudness, just dont add the megabass acoustic.
(using XS++1.6.8)

i'm the skylineR35. there's 2 link there and some suggestion that you might read.

CID is something like the code production for the phone.
some K800 have CID49, some have CID51 and latest have CID52.
for me, my k800 is the late batch because its brown, hence its cid 52 from the day i bought. however its now mod-able (using XS++1.67 and above)

just connect your K800
with the procedure specified.

later in the left pane of XS++ you'll see what CID is your K800.
Don't worry, i think by now all CID of K800 is supported, even mine that is 52.

btw i just kno that the new KD player (0.8.1 26AG07) just released.
the interface is really nice...

i now using the sunfire 7 acoustic but overwritten by xaero.
it basically means that, as sunfire has more files than xaero. although i have overwritten it with xaero, some characteristic of sunfire is still there.

Megabass V6 is an extension that only has 4 acoustic files inside.
which means, it's not a full acoustic. if you just put this to your K800, just the bass is increased.
the loudspeakr loudness is not increased.

i'm using sunfire without problem. it's loud and clear. but i added xaero to it.
so far no much difference heard, i think its because

num. of acoustic in sunfire > num of acoustic in xaero.
means = more number, more setting changed.

today m K800 CID 52 also moddable.
im not sure, but if you wish to "learn" the mod process, better go esato or se-nse.
