super cam 8.54 is the best and i tried 21.8 also but it is bad and the response is terrible . it is not complicated at all just use it and you will get use to is . i thought so in the beginning .

far manager can not display properly when you select chinese as unicode text . just go to language and region and change it back to english and you would be able to read far manager . when finish just switch back to chinese as some of your software is chinese based .

have you executed the patch ?

Looks like you guy hving some problems. So here is a little bit of extra things to lookup to and hope it helps.

1) The dcu-60 cable is very sensitive to movement. so make sure that you hear the sound "ton-ton" means connected and leave both end of cable (connection to phone and usb connection to pc ) untouch during the process of flashing. If disconnection happens you would hear "ton-tan" than you would have problem.

2) If ever the dcu-60 can't detect your phone any more just uninstall pc suite and reinstall it. you can try to master reset your phone to see if it helps.

3) Make sure you copy all the require files before starting to do anything. Put them in a folder like this :-

4) Rearrange your file in a folder that would prevent you from flashing wrong files. As i said before flashing involves 3 steps. First load the breaker files with xs++, second use far to carry out customization and lastly use xs++ to load the main files. I actually copy the w810_p3k_dcu.49R.ssw into 1step1 folder and W810_R4EA031_MAIN_CHINA_HN_RED49.mbn into zlaststep folder like this :-

5) Make sure you execute sefp0.10.0.51patch file in C:\Program Files\Far\Plugins\SEFP folder before running far. and the sefp folder should looks like this :-

6)When running xs++ make sure that you only select flash main firmware and browse for the file in step 1 and step 3, leave all other click box empty like this :-

7)When running far manager you would notice that there are two SEFP 0.10.0.51 folder and you should select the second one and you should see w810 bootscript there:-

Just master reset your phone and uninstall pc suite and reinstall pc suite . it happen to me too .

Your pc cant detect your phone or just you cant use Far ? If your pc cant detect your phone just go to phone and modem delete your phone modem, uninstall sony ericsson pc suite and reinstall.... restart your pc and take out battery of your phone and do a master reset for setting only if necessary and reconnect to see if pc can detect your phone. It happens to me before.

I have just upload the video file recording the desktop activities of the whole process of customising w810i. There are three steps: 1st flash the breakloader with xs++. Take out your battery for 10 seconds. 2nd use Far manager to flash your acoustic, camera, flash files etc. Take out your battery for 10 second. 3nd flash the main file using xs++. Hope it would help.

No problem. If you afraid you can create a folder in your c driver and then copy the original files in one foloder.

Yup i face the same problem . master reset setting won change your acoustic and camera drivers . you just need to reset your time and sms gone . no big deal . so just master reset off and on back phone . uninstall and reinstall sony pc suit you should be able to connect back .

Some time the dcu-60 cable can be highly sensitive and your phone just cant connect to it. How do you know this happen. Just put back your simcard on the phone and connect the phone to the cable. If you hear "ton-ton" once and the screen on the phone comes out with USB connection....file transfer or phone mode for your to choose, your phone connection is okie and it should be able to connect to any software such as myphone explorer or ready to be used as a modem for internet connection ( which i did everyday ) Else it means the connection got problem and most probably you need to install and uninstall se pc suite. It happens to nokia phone as well ( more worst ). If your phone connection is ok you should be able to connect to xs++. Some time if got connection error just take out the battery for longer time and try again.



Try rufinus v3. It is the best sofar.

You want loud sound try v3:) it is loud and clear . now using Toshaha 1.6 also quite good .

Now using Tosahara v1.6 very clear and loud. Camera driver still super cam 8.54 is the best. Hope Chengrong to develop new version.

YBTAN when you see nothing in fs it does not mean that your fs is gone. it means that there are error while far try to read your phone. did you go in into fs successfuly before or you always stumble here . did you load the break loader with xs? did you patch your sepf ? did you extract all the three addon one by one as in the instruction in pisanggoreng thread. did you move or disturb the dcu cable while in the mid way of using far ? if everything fail just take out your battery for 30 second sim card too
and jury to use xs to load back the main. as i mention over and over again flash involves 3 steps and after you loadin the first loader your phone cant be used as in is a dummy main for you to use far to modify your phone . you must load back the correct main in step 3 to bring back you phone alive . by the way you cant copy the whole fs file and paste it in far . you can only flash the fs file using xs if you would like to unbrand it .

Not true . in fact there much better theme like those of w850 that you can use after flashing the right swf file .
