If I'm not mistaken, USB Flash is the driver that allow PC to detect your phone.

Other models are available to mod as well.

Different model for sure have different firmware.

Till now, no people mod Z610 yet. And no people tend to explore and come out with something that Z610 can mod.

What I mean other model is some other Sony Ericsson's model which are K800i, W850i and etc.

You might need to update that K800i that able to mod is the phone with CID 49. Other then that, you can't bruceforce it. You need the other way to mod.
Putting K800i able to mod is kind of misleading to others that don't really know anything about it.

What you want to mod for your K618i ? Sound driver I assume ?
And that's the only thing I can think of to mod for K618i.

Check your firmware 1st. If your firmware is R1ED000 (CID 49), then you can mod it. Else, just forget it. CID 51 and above require you to pay when you do modding.

Yeap. You can. Pay some penny for it and ask for reflash the firmware.

No free lunch in this world .

For sure once you flash to W800i, you have to use W800i firmware. I don't think you can update it back to K750i unless a reflash. Updating through SEUS is impossible if my memory serve me right.

Tools needed


Guides for modding K800i/K810i menu
1. Connect your phone to PC and install the Flash Driver provided above.

2. Extract the Phone XS 1.68 to your PC then create a folder name "files_to_upload" in the same folder of Phone XS 1.68 like the print screen below



3. Then inside the "files_to_upload" folder, create subfolder which are /tpa/preset/system/menu. Which mean inside "files_to_upload" folder create a new folder called "tpa" then inside tpa folder create a folder called "preset" and so on till "menu" folder.

4. Inside "menu" folder, paste in all the related files and icons that you wanted to mod. See the print screen below


5. Open Phone XS++ and you should see this.


6. Click connect and connect your phone. You should see this.


7. Then click on Customize file System and you will see this.


8. Click ok then Click settings.


9. Then in setting, Click Break FS


10. After that, Choose FSX™.


11. Click Start after that. By the end of process, you should see this.


Unplug your phone from cable, remove battery and reinsert it and start your phone.

My hand get itchy now to get a flash theme base phone
Just that I hold myself back as most of the current flash theme phone didn't come with AF for camera. So, not buying. Fund for my PSP better
