In the last week I had some issues while playing games. I checked if I could install new drivers, but that wasn't the case. Then I wanted to check if Windows needed to update. But the page won't load, the only thing I see, are those 5 small balls moving at the top, indicating that the page is loading. Does anyone know why this is happening, or how to fix it?

Do you feel that your computer is sluggish when doing just about anything? Are you also using HDD? Your disk might have bad sectors and pending for a replacement Download CrystalDiskInfo to check the health of your HDD/SSD

Does anyone know why this is happening, or how to fix it? Is this the first time you run Windows Update ? If yes, then high chances it is scanning your hardware and software for a list of updates before downloading it from internet. If no, did you recently upgraded your computer such as changing mainboard or certain hardware ? If yes, then its the same steps as above. If still no, then high chances your Windows Update is broken. You may want to check is there any software that was recently installed ?

Try to re-register Settings app:
1. Open administrative Windows PowerShell.
2. In PowerShell window, type/paste following cmdlet and press Enter key:
Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name windows.immersivecontrolpanel | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose}
3. Let the command complete. good luck
