I Just bought a new monitor but it came with 4 dead pixels. Asked for RMA but according to shop, minimum is 7 dead pixels for RMA.

AOC malaysia's website/fb totally silent on the number of pixels for RMA and only reply my message once, few days ago. Didn't reply my query since.

Thinking whether I should just return the monitor and buy another brand, asus or acer.

Just becareful with this company. *#$&

That's for dead pixels that develop over time while in warranty. There's usually another criteria for dead pixels on a brand new monitor. Viewsonic, for example, is 2 pixels, 1-to-1 exchange within 7 days. Apple is 1 pixel anytime while in warranty but they'll only replace it once.

when buy monitor check first la. last time i bought monitor at viewnet lowyat, the staff unbox, power on and let me check first the monitor. puas hati baru la pi kaunter bayar.

True. This seller didn't even check for dead pixel before delivery even though requested. That's what I can deduce after chatting with them.

So which shop check fully no faulty or dead pixel then deliver?

Actually where is AOC service center. My monitor dies last year during MCO and until now I don’t know where to send for repair.

AOC really lousy quality monitor. Last only about 1+ year and suddenly no power. My other Philips monitor already close to 5 years with no problems at all.

ALL of the manufacturer imposed min dead pixel policy lah. of course u can pay premium for premium brand OR pay for 1to1 exchange for dead pixel insurance. i think illegear does that

its very normal for monitor to have dead pixel and yes its like a lottery when u buy monitor

monitor got warranty 3years but
in 3years RMA 6times!
even there come home and pickup,
after repair send back...
i oso feel y this product so suck....

This model have excellent reviews in YT and it's not cheap also..price comparable to asus. In this case, Acer is cheaper than AOC.

1st thing i test is use paint make full screen on any color
Check any abnormal color or dead pixel
Now have been use 2.5 years

Mine is an office monitor as I don't use for gaming. Purely to do work for viewing words or excel files. Model is E2770SH.

It died on me last year when I need it the most during MCO. Until now I have not sent for repair as their service center is in Klang.

It only lasted about a year and half. Don't know what happened but totally no power at all.

If their normal office model also can kaput so fast, I really no confidence with their gaming monitors.

Last time I work in lowyat, we are required to test the screen in front of customer. They are to inspect everything us ok before paying.

Thank goodness my Acer monitor has been treating me for 5 years with no issue at all but even if got issue, Acer service can help to check on the spot just like they did for my sis's monitor super efficient and good customer service.
