Hello, I'm new here, I hope I don't break any rule. I wanted to ask if would be possible to install OSX86 on my Compaq Presario V3918, I've been googling for a few days but I still don't fine all the info I'm looking for. Here are my hardware specs:

Processor: AMD Turion 64 x2 TL-60
Chipset: nVidia nForce 630i
Wireless: Broadcom 802.11/b.g
Video card: nVidia GeForce Go 7150M
Sound: Conexant High Definition Audio
Ricoh memory card reader

Well, I don't know what else is important to know if it's possible to install mac. I also would like to know which version of mac should I use if possible to install. Sorry I'm completely noob with mac but I want to buy one so I want to learn about leopard. Well, hope you can answer my post. Thanks in advance.

Don't think it'll work. I've an ASUS lappy with similar config. It hangs in installation.

Mac OS X can just be installed in current PC right?Just the problem is Driver?Is that what the Hackintosh purposes?

want to ask which way is faster and easier to dual boot OSX & Vista, pls help...
1) install OSX first then dual boot by bootcamp
2) install vista first then only OSX

Last night i'm trying to install with iPC OSx86 Leopard 10.5.6 Intel AMD SSE2 SSE3 and got error becuase my hardware not support. Any idea how to solve it? My pc spec like at the bottom.

I encounter such error. The problem is I cant successfully boot my SL when there is no DSMOS
I can only boot after I add the DSMOS, else it would stuck at ACPI_SMC_Plugin start::(WaitingAppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out in verbose mode

Officially 10.6.2 supports i5 and P55 chipsets. So its possible to use retail 10.6.2 on a Core i5
