Hi, skitZo,
Thank for the file, u can remove it for your post. Million of thanks and u save my day. However, May I know what have u edit in the DSDT ? beside than, just copying those kext to the /E/E will not work right... need to chmod all the kext right ? may all the compaq user come across with blacklisted wifi adapter.
my V3758 come with intel 4965AGN wifi which is not supported from hackintosh... if u buy a new wifi u probably can't use it b'coz compaq bios blocked the 3rd party manufacture wifi adapter... Yday, I bought a 2nd hand WIFI broadcom 4311. This wifi adapter was being used in a compaq last time. and i buy over and now i can use this broadcom without editing my Compaq BIOS. and working OTB. |

Hi,
My current Hackintosh Installed using SnowOSX Universal v3.6. may i know how to upgrade to 10.6.4 manually ? I downloaded the 10.6.4 manually but i couldnt find sleepenable.kext is SnowOSX using EFI partition ? |

the snow Universal v3.6 I do not find any of the kext in S/L/E or E/E with this Snow Universal v3.6 version... Is Snow.Universal.3.6 using EFI partition to store all the kext inside ? |

i want to ask tis,
after update from 10.6.2 (Universal v3.6) to 10.6.4 (using updatecombo) Below is my spec, I use tonymacx86 Kernel now my USB can not detect my iphone. But I confirm USB port is working fine. ( test with Pendrive ).. All USB port can not detect my IPHONE. Anyone know the clue what is going on ? |

However, I found a solution from the internet by downgrading the USBdriver from 4.0.2 to 3.4.4 But, 4.0.2 works with my USB WIFI Adapter dlink DWA125. while 3.4.4 dont. (vice versa) so I need both driver to work together to get my usb wifi adapter to work and my iphone (Sync and charge) Whereby, If i check on the System profile. Any of the usb is not work will be caused by "Current Required (mA): Unknown" example : Product ID: 0x1297 Vendor ID: 0x05ac (Apple Inc.) Version: 0.01 Serial Number: 2793bf045715ee99f1d95cb182692aa9e4e89566 Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec Manufacturer: Apple Inc. Location ID: 0xfd300000 Current Available (mA): 500 Current Required (mA): Unknown (Device has not been configured) As a result, the usb device wont work. recently, i just fixed my mobo P55-UD3L with sound problem. |

Not necessary to get retail CD. there are few copy available from the internet.

actually happen to me after upgrade to 10.6.5, some of my USB do not works.
like Keyboard mouse works, but iPhone can't detect, wireless adapter can't detect or vice versa. so i use back the old one from 10.6.2 try my IOUSBFAmily.kext put in E/E and S/L/E (correct me if wrong, Digswell) This post has been edited by Suk: Feb 6 2011, 12:04 AM |
