go to device manager and disable intel graphic. and only enable the nvidia.
all discreet graphics are usually some add on connected to the SoC board. if you know how to open, it is very simple to debug

you only need to proof one way one last test to see if it is a hardware issue. if you know how to install linux and run it, you can just leave it on and see if it happens the same behavior as windows
