Sometime back in june 2020, for the first time i had this feeling of incontinence, like at work at any time feel like going to lose control. Also i noticed at that time after going, i still feel fullness and like i need to go again. Stool at that time also inconsistent, sometimes diarrhea, sometimes thin narrow stool. I didnt notice any blood but there was black tarry stools on and off, not sure if that is dried blood. I did feel a lump at my anus area, but i really cant remember if it was always there before, felt like it was haemorrhoid.

Was really suffering at that time for 2 weeks, not sure how i still manage to go to work. Wanted to go hospital, but felt embarrassed want to check that area, the hairryness and all, sigh. But thankfully, 2 weeks after i was back to feeling normal. So i didnt go for any check. But that lump at the anus was still there, i kind of felt like it had always been there for years though, so i didnt really bother about it.

But now after many months, again im having the same thing. Like incontinence feeling and fullness after going kind of feeling. Dont know what to do, really suffering and poor quality of life at the moment. I still feel so embarrassed to go hospital and check. Dont understand what is going on with me, after many months this thing come back again...sigh 😔. Hope not colon cancer...

Check asap .

There’s nothing to be embarrassed about seeing a dr. They are professionals. The fact your issue is affecting your quality of life is a serious matter. Get check asap.

Just go for colonoscope.
It is the definite diagnostic investigation that will clear all your worry.

Oh yes, did a colonoscopy at KPJ last month. All clear 😅
Till today i dont know what caused all that, haha

Paid myself, about RM2500. Insurance can, the nurse even insist i claim under insurance, but i wanted to be fast and hassle free, so decided to pay my own.

RM2500 for colonscopy? back then it was around 1k in 2011.. BTW , claiming thru your insurance is totally hassle free , u just need to fill up a form provided by the hospital and the doc will arrange your procedure in the next 2 or 3 days. Same goes for endoscopy

Oh yes ah? I thought will be a lot of hassle. No wonder lah the nurse kept insisting i use insurance. Haha 😅

Medical doctors are professional and they hardly see this as a joke. You will feel comfortable almost instantly the moment you hear their response towards your issue. They are very understanding of your situation. Precious time has been wasted and hopefully you will engage a doctor immediately.

Please go see a doctor ASAP. Don't take health things for granted. I had a friend whom nearly fainted in the toilet due to excessive bleeding from hemorrhoid.

Black tarry stool is something serious and bleeding inside. Go see doctor asap

If fresh red blood, then probably piles
