Hi, sifu's need advice to change tyres or not?
Toyota Prius. Michelin XM2, 195/65R15. 4 years 6 months old. Rotated every 10k km. 5mm tread left. Tyres has no cracks. 32psi.
Im asking because quite a few times I made the tyre sequel during cornering(30kmh) and coming out from a junction. On the highway (80-110kmh) if raining <80kmh, so no problem.
The other thing is, car is 8 years old looking to sell the car around 10 years old. Currently only around 68000km.
If to change tyres looking at:
Toyo CR1, Rm171, no installation
Yoko es32, Rm180, no installation
Gy atm2, Rm218, w installation
Cc6, Rm219, w installation
Eying CR1.
5mm is still very thick. If no cracks and rubber still rather soft then just keep using them, probably even 2 more years until you want to sell they're still not yet bald so no need to change anymore.Toyota Prius.
