Price wise is very2 good, in china at least. Lower should be rmb 1999 =~ rm1250...

Anybody remember how much is the poco f2 initial price when launching in Malaysia?
*
IIRC the RRP is over 2k, which surprised many people why did flagship killers cost so much. But the eventual and quick drop in price saved it.

Just want to ask you guys, I am considering very heavily to buy this phone dedicated for my gaming needs.
The only dilemma is the amount of RAM.
256GB is too much for me and 128GB is just nice.
But it paired with 6GB RAM.
Is it enough for my gaming needs or better go for 8GB version?
*
If more and more games like Genshin get pushed out, you gonna start appreciate those extra RAM and internal storage more...

is only rm 200 different with 128 + 2 gb rams .... if 200 not huge amount for u, go for it.
*
Early bird 128GB only saved RM100, but 256GB one saved RM200 instead.

1299 vs 1499 so still rm 200 tongue.gif
*
Outside of this period it will be RM300 different.

RM200 different for 128GB extra of non-expendable storage already is a steal.

so many new phone now getting a bit confused, what is the major difference between poco f3 nad x3 pro? i read comparison btw x3 pro and redmi note 10 pro is gaming vs camera, what about f3? good in both gaming and camera?
*
Xiaomi phone (global) suppose to have 3 line,

Mi
Redmi
Poco

Mi is the more vanilla and generic Xiaomi, normally only got flagship or midrange (lite) and sometimes got note models too. This few years they have the Mi-T series too as cheaper alternative to their Mi-flagship line, catering for the Q3/Q4 sale (Mi-flagship normally launched Q1).

Redmi is the budget line, but this few years they're pushing for midrange with better specs too. In china they have flagship models too, but globally we have Poco taken it's spot.

Poco, first created for flagship killer (poco F1), but down the line they're changing to offering better valued phones (and mostly China's Redmi spinoffs); now with midrange (X-series) and low-end (M-series). F series suppose to be their flagship killer line.

Anyone has a working Lazada promo code to buy POCO F3?
*
Think bout promo code later.

First thing first you need to snatch one unit from all those bots/scripters.

Anyone know if the screen for both x3 pro or f3 is flat screen or 2.5d? Don't want 2.5d cause the curve is annoying as heck for finding suitable screen protector
*
2.5D one is actually easy to find tempered glass, just use those full-screen with black borders one.

Are we guaranteed to get the discounted price if we purchase the phone through Lazada on 27th?
*
Should be yes. Normally this RM100-200 off early bird discount is not limited to single or double digits of units only.

But again, my biggest concern is whether you can fight with all those scalpers with botting scripts.

Another risk is Xiaomi have the bad history of over committed their units to the point they can’t fulfil every order. So let’s pray they did it better this time round.

Yesterday midnight X3 pro at Shopee sold over 2k+ units within 10 minutes

Total 3628 units of X3 pro sold with 3 minutes to go this morning.

Can’t help. Even as a PocoF2Pro user whom bought it for cheap at RM1.5k-ish, I also almost tempted to grab one unit myself.

Especially so if you’re paying with Citibank yesterday midnight for an additional RM40 off voucher. It’s totally a steal and nailed all sub RM1.3k phones hard.

I believe stocks for F3 would be aplenty too coz the F3 flash sales at Lazada run from 27 to 28 March.

My biggest qualm is shipping from hongkong could take up to 18 days according to the reviews i read at the Lazada Poco official store.
*
Ya, all these early birds set always came from China/HK directly. But they promised to honour the warranty as local sets.

And yeah, the shipping sometimes can get delayed beyond real local sets’s retail availability, LOL. But for the RM200 savings, kasichanlahmacha.jpg

Special preorder price only for 2 hours,
I guess this phone battery not lasting
*
From Poco F2 Pro’s perspective, this phone is bout 200mAh smaller, shouldn’t affect much.

Poco F2 Pro actually have a decent battery life. Though an early guess from me is it will probably score 10-15% less SOT than F2 pro due to 120Hz display vs 60Hz.

Am in dilemma of poco f3 , redmi note 10 pro and samsung a52.

Not sure which is better, and I am not a gamer though.

Samsung is definitely out.

Their A series is a joke in 2021. Might as well grab their old M-series, at least better value.

Between F3 and Note10pro, I’m more inclined on the former still, for I know how good my F2Pro is, and it cost me 1.5k+ for 128GB. Now it’s (partial) successor is out and cost even cheaper for a 256GB, what’s not to like?

The screen will likely be the top in class AMOLED by Samsung, paired with the stereo speakers, it gonna be a great multimedia device (minus the small camera cutout, but manufacturers are growing stingy on pop up camera and thinking most people won’t mind the small cutout anymore in 2021).

Though the camera specs of F3 sounds a little mediocre.

IF you play games, FOCO F3.

If just for daily usage, and have a better camera/video, A72.
*
If want camera, go Mi10TPro

SD720G can hardly support high frame rates/resolutions video taking.

It’s really dumb to spend RM1.9k for a non-5G, no wifi6, SD720G phone in year 2021...

For just RM200 more, you can get (soon 2 years old) ex-Samsung flagship Note10+, which is a much much much better phone in every sense possible than the ridiculous A72 LTE.

Pay using boost also as fast as like using laz wallet ?

Actually lazada nowadays have a checkout and pay, 2 steps procedure.

So long as you checked out, you pretty much secured the deal already, can pay within next few ours and contemplating a little longer. laugh.gif

After order and not paid, it will be in your list of order where you’re given some time (used to be one day) to pay or the order will get forfeited.

based on POCO passed new launched promo practice... First day promo is 2 hrs..... but then same offer will come weeks later, and repeated from time to time.
*
But they rarely give upright RM200 off.

So I expect future sales they may juggle between RM100-150 discount only, until next big sale dates such as 9.9 or 11.11.

I strongly believe POCO F3 will the the best selling phone this year for Malaysia market.
*
Actually Poco is still considered geek phone, which is expected to have limited penetration to the market.

Many skeptics will still choose their rubbish Samseng midrange at a higher price than paying less for a proper phone truly worth it’s money.

Don’t worry, poco line of phone is popular among geeks, plenty of custom ROM around after it gained market.

My concern is, if this 6GB memory really sufficient for long term use? If not I would have to wait for 256GB.

128GB, still manageable. But 6GB will affect the performance seriously if not enough.

If anyone know 6GB is good, please let me know. I am first time trying to use xiaomi phone.
*
Long term usability shouldn’t be a major concern as there’s still 3GB android devices out there and 4GB still the most abundant variant for budget devices.

The only limitation is perhaps you can’t multitasks and cache programs at the back just as much as 8GB can (and xiaomi is famous for killing idling tasks at the back too, so you may not be even using those extra RAM most of the time).

My PocoF2Pro is 6GB variant, nonissue with RAM yet.
