If they don't game, Redmi line up seems good if you can get good price for it.

can point me where Poco say Poco is for gamers only or its even a gaming phone?? Or you pluck it out of thin air?  laugh.gif

In fact, any mention of games is always as a secondary thing and not mentioned as the primary..
So much for being a gamer phone huh or Poco very fail at marketing their "gaming" phone...  rolleyes.gif

Wow man is here being so short sighted and all. You fail to take into account having SD870 is good for longevity. This means in 3 years ++  doing and launching/opening those "boomer" stuff will still remain quick and snappy. Open mysejahtera check in still snappy not wait in line and hold up other people.. Same like my spare F1 now, its more than 3 years old but still snappy as heck.

Doing boomer stuff doesnt mean have to do it at boomer pace as well you know?

also F3 got big big amoled screen with 120hz, very good on the eyes for boomer to read news, scroll facebook or do other boomer stuffs too you know..

120hz doesnt mean the benefit for playing games only you know...

sincerely,
my 2 cents as non-gamer F3 user.
What a load of crap buddy.

Indeed this phone is built to age better than typical midrange (especially vs Samsung's A/M series).

But I really have to acknowledge that MIUI's (major) updates tend to mess up big time, and Xiaomi's software support aren't the longest either. So you gonna pray hard that the very last update the phone received can fix most of the software issues of the phone once and for all.

u got ur point , when first year guna nicely , then 2nd year suddenly an update then ruins everything ....when u feel ur phone is slow , throttle , then u will think of changing other phone zzzzz

there is a way in poco f3 malaysia facebook group downgrade back to 12.0.....and the heat is gone even with games turbo on.... doh.gif
Some even mention that , when get the phone genshin impact can run at least 40-50 FPS ....after a year didn't install it and re-play back genshin impact , the FPS cant even reach 40 , stuck at 35++ only  confused.gif  confused.gif  confused.gif

One thing is because genshin itself getting heavier and heavier.

My 12mini used to breeze through lowest graphic setting with no possibilities of throtling, but the latest few patches (and combining with iOS updates) screw that up.

Hi guys,

Just got my Poco F3 today.
First time using an amoled phone. I noticed when i put my phone side by side with my old IPS LCD Redmi, the white on the F3 does not look as white as the LCD. A little yellowish and not as bright.
Reading mode is off.
May i know if it's normal for amoled? or if there's a way to fix or test the screen?
Thanks.

It's certainly abnormal.

Typical AMOLED is tuned more bluish by default.

Go "display > color scheme" there and see if it's under vivid and neutral color temperature.
