to those that received theirs, does your unit suffer from uneven display colour like this guy? https://c.po.co/global/circle/circledetail/11369

QUOTE(bennedict82 @ Apr 13 2021, 12:03 PM) Sad to see that. Make me want to cancel my order. Compare with your previous Note20 Ultra, is this phone performs good? This is a known issue affecting amoled screens. Mine still "To Pack" so I am also considering cancelling if Xiaomi is "binning" their screens. Aka Poco gets the low quality one and the good ones are then reserved for their mi 11 line..A bit too early to tell though. |

QUOTE(attw @ Apr 14 2021, 08:58 AM) No more pre-order but you can look out for sale pricing every now and then... Should be RM1299 for the 6/128 one and RM1499 for the 8/256 variant. This, however if you dont mind paying the RRP, occasionally you can see them back in stock @ Lazada (maybe due to ppl cancelling for waiting too long) |

QUOTE(SwarmTroll @ Apr 13 2021, 10:21 PM) Okay I had a test of the green tint thingy in pitch black and using Chrome tabs in dark mode. And it's a lot worse that I thought lol, looks like bright spots/areas here and there... :/ How bad is it though? Appreciate if you can take some pics. My old school amoled s7 edge is even all the way. Feels like a recent issue with samsung panels..sigh. |

QUOTE(KopiChia @ Apr 14 2021, 02:00 PM) I already said few pages back full gestures not working unless someone ask Poco/Xiaomi they are not going to fix it. I can't get out of settings. From his reply it looks like a fundamental change by Google and xiaomi is not going out of their way to fix it.1. It's been over 140 days broken if they didn't fix it by now they won't. 2. Most China users are using default launcher. On similar news I asked a xda gesture developer who develop gesture app for older androids. He told me he unable to do it. ![]() |

QUOTE(bennedict82 @ Apr 15 2021, 10:01 AM) Anyone got update from 'POCO Certified Store"? I have not followed up but cs says shipping scheduled within next week. Likely the stock is by carton and has not arrived yet. Those that have them shipped might be due to cancellations from the first preorder. My still "To Pack". Lagi teruk then "POCO Official Store". I guess some buyer cancelled order .... Can see some unit return to stock. This post has been edited by layzieboy: Apr 15 2021, 10:06 AM |

QUOTE(Skeuomorphic @ Apr 15 2021, 10:08 AM) Yeah, I ended cancelling my order from there and then found a seller on carousell selling the phone for 1499 256gb after using it for 1 day I dont get why people do this though . I am not not complaining but is it buyers remorse or are they using ezypay to get some cash liquidity at 0% interest |

QUOTE(KopiChia @ Apr 16 2021, 08:54 PM) I just realised Mi Turbo is either 20v3a or 11v3a not 5a. Seems my cables can't get that fast. 20v3a is just 20 volts 3 amps no? Your cable in the pic "supports" up to 5 amps and is technically above spec.I read in xda some achieve 5800mA that is top speed of my Oneplus warp charge. Anyway anyone knows any mi turbo 2m usb c cables 20v3a being sold in Lazada/Shopee? The turbo charger is likely just a rebrand of Qualcomm's Quick charge tech ( i am not 100% sure though) |

QUOTE(lazyman@home @ Apr 18 2021, 09:21 AM) Wait and wait. And I expect longer as I am at Labuan.. Parcels to Labuan normally feels like it reroute to Mars before to Labuan yeah need to be patient. technically they did not promise a time frame since they already stated eta is 14 april onwards. MAybe you can try contacting the cs to get a more accurate ETA for your case and mention you from Labuan. gxthelord liked this post

I think someone should test this out and see the real diff between mi turbo charger triggered vs not triggered {quick charge} . Maybe the diff is not that much.

QUOTE(soultaker @ Apr 18 2021, 07:15 PM) Mi turbo charge from 15% to 100% about 45m Quick charge from 12% to 100% about 1h8m Sure it will degrade faster than normal charge, but the degardation is not so fast for current type of battery compare to older one. To me it's better to use the turbo charge to save time unless you want to charge it overnight, so can use normal charge. Just avoid to completely drained the battery to 0% as it will reduce the battery life. Ideal battery charge level is between 20-80%. QUOTE(msacras @ Apr 18 2021, 07:48 PM) PD port on this powerbank max out at 40W, which is a pain in the a** for charging laptop as it may trigger the popup of under wattage charger. They should had bumped it to 45W instead... Xiaomi’s 33W charging is based on 11Vx3A, which isn’t a standard covered by PD. Perhaps a PPS charger like that of Samsung can trigger the 11V. QUOTE(NooBiE888 @ Apr 18 2021, 07:53 PM) I have : Thanks guys. Learnt something today, looks like PPS is the keyword and you need a power supply that supports it to trigger mi turbo. This is further confirmed in this chinese article (found via reddit)https://www.chongdiantou.com/wp/archives/35962.html65W PD/QC car charger - MI10 trigger QC @ 1% per min 100W Xiaomi car charger - MI10 trigger Turbo Charge @ >1% per min (very2 fast) For cable , you need cable that is spec for 5A. Best is get those with E-mark as those confirm support 100W power For Mi Turbo , you need the charger to support PD & PPS charging. I can confirm this Edit: Scratch that, reading the article further some PPS chargers does not trigger the handshake for mi turbo unless you plug in a compatible one first This post has been edited by layzieboy: Apr 18 2021, 08:24 PM |

QUOTE(attw @ Apr 19 2021, 11:50 AM) I am more interested in how you will give them hell though Also, my status changed to "Item Packed" QUOTE(KopiChia @ Apr 19 2021, 11:51 AM) Nothing much you can do here. What feature are you missing from not using nova? Your best bet is to flash a custom rom when they are available (PixelExperience etc.) |
