What do you mean about no physical sensor?

So the implementation of virtual sensor is which as below:

(A) use gyro/accelerometer to detect movements of pick up the phone to near the ear? Or

(B) similar to samsung phones, use touch screen panel as "palm proximity sensor"

Or both?

Yeah for me cutting out physical proximity/light sensor seems to be one of worst cost cutting measures in modern "bezel-less" phones IMO
that a samsung device and may not use the same implementation..
actually the "virtual" word is probably marketing speak. It still uses an ultrasonic sensor that sits hidden in the earpiece. But the algorithm is bad and takes some time getting used to.

actually since we are on topic, does anyone know if the one supplied in the box is a passthrough version? i.e. does poco f3 use the internal dac for audio?

Anyone know how to recall the miui 13 update notification? I snooze it and find miui 13 update anymore.

I would like to know as well but I think it's push based so you have no control once the notification expires. It will come back in a couple of days from what people say here.

xundd is slightly thinner and is also really good imo. Prefer its cleaner looks as its less busy around the edges. I have the matte version.

only bug i found was some weird rotation issue. when using gestures to go to recent apps, the screen sometimes rotates to landscape mode. this happens when i have an app that was full screen but minimized.

Sadly it's an issue so don't be sorry or feel the need to remove your post.. I can see the viewpoint where this should simply just work but it doesn't sometimes which can be really annoying. For example, it happened to me a couple of times where I put it to my ear and the screen did not turn off and my face pressed the mute button instead..

They did fix it but due to the nature of the tech, its not reliable.

For non techies like my mum using xiaomi as well, I need to retrain her as well which is awkward when it should just work..
Just my two cents.
