Hi all thanks for replying.

Factory reset is the last resort , As i have quite alot of useful data in my phone, and quite a hassel to backup.
But just now I played a game for 15minites (a mild game, brawl star) and it get until 44 degree, damn hot. Think the 12.5.1 update f.. up

Seem like factory reset is the way to go. Miui sucks.

LAst time at 12.0.3 I can played up to hours without running hot. but now. haiz.
And I have encounter sudden restart many times + the screen will auto off itself when using..

Not sure what media.extractor is. used lots of stuff

Look at today usuge, battery is GG
the draining battery is playing brawl star for 5 minutes

I use this phone for gaming also......temp like usual....no overheating on this 12.5.1 update.

Your phone facing sudden restart maybe because of overheating or maybe some apps or driver crash when u using it.
Reset is the best choice cause after reset it will reinstall everything like a new phone.
After reset problem still same [normaly wont be any issue] .......time to look for service centre to check whats wrong with your phone.

P/S; maybe is the media.extractor cause the problem [maybe it is a virus or something]. Try search what it is on your phone & delete/uninstall it. Last step only reset.

I am on the 12.5.1 too, but I don't face the problem as you do. I been playing pubg just to drain the battery before I recharge it this afternoon, and it takes me more than an hour to go from 35 to 10++ percent. Maybe try some other methods before factory reset? I think the factory reset can solve the problem but I do agree with you, it is a hassle to backup everything and redo all over again.

guys, seems latest update bring too much issue for f3, no?
thinking to stick with pre-installed fw and avoid updates. is it safe?
do updates bring more good than harm?

The pre-install miui 12.0.2 has battery draining issues during phone idle as well as some bugs.
To me, miui 12.5.1 is the smoother one as of now.

It will delete all the files on your phone and reinstall new back new files. So, if your phone got any unwanted files, broken files and viruses....all will be gone....and also your data. Remember to backup.

The most important thing would be pictures, contact & messages. I use Google account to backup everything. Easy for me to restore back without need to transfer file out to external storage / computer.

You may call Lazada helpline or live chat via Lazada app to request for the invoice.
Since this phone was launched not long, usually they will use the phone serial number to check manufacturer date if you don’t have invoice/proof of purchase.

I believed that POCO Official Global Store did include the invoice in the box together with the phone. You can ask Lazada CS too provide the copy of the invoice.
