First of all, run these codes on the Phone

VoLTE = *#*#86583#*#*

VoWiFi = *#*#869434#*#*

Then go to Settings > SIM cards & mobile networks > "SIM 1 or SIM 2" depending on where you install your SIM card > Enable "Use VoLTE" > Enable "Make calls using Wi-Fi"

Of course, this also depends on your telco. If you are using Digi, just call their helpline and convince them you're using one of the devices listed below and they will force their system to enable VoLTE
Once VoLTE is activated for your number, VoWiFi should be activated as well
*Digi didn't bother testing Xiaomi devices but VoLTE & VoWiFi works beautifully on my Mi 11 after I activated them

VoLTE : Voice over LTE
Means it uses your data to make calls instead of 2G/3G GSM calls

If VoLTE is not activated, your data will drop to 2G/3G when you're making a call or when a call comes in and you will get disconnected from any games you're playing and get disconnected from conference calls (Zoom/Skype/Google Meet)
If VoLTE is activated, your data will stay on 4G/5G and calls will rely on your data so no dropped data connection kicking you out from a game/conference calls

VoWiFi : Voice over Wi-Fi

Same functionality as above with the added security of making/receiving calls through Wi-Fi where the audio quality will be very crips & clear even when your phone signal is only 1 - 2 bars

After using 13.0.4.0 for a few days, I do see that there are some graphical changes & performance increment
Not sure why Xiaomi wouldn't write the changes in the update log though. Weird

Unless you're willing to pay an exorbitant fee to repair your Xiaomi China unit, might just throw your phone away
Xiaomi Malaysia service center will not entertain any RMA request for imported units unless you're willing to pay for the repair

Free repairs are only for Xiaomi Malaysia units that are still under warranty

Is anyone else having issue getting VoWiFi on SIM slot 1 nowadays?
I can only get VoWiFi if I move my SIM card to slot 2

This phone is getting worse every day
Camera getting blurry
VoWiFi somehow broken on SIM slot 1
Slow firmware updates. (my wife's mid-end Galaxy A51 gets much more frequent updates)

Our Mi 11 has been forgotten by Xiaomi. It hasn't even reach 2 years since the launch. That's it, no more Xiaomi for me

I actually thought of going to Samsung
But their S22 Ultra 5G 128GB is only RM200 cheaper than iPhone 13 Pro Max 128GB
At that price, I might as well go for iPhone. Way longer support from Apple and we all know iPhone price very hard to go down

128GB is more than enough for me as I'm not the type to take a lot of pictures

Been saving money for 14 Pro Max

My job doesn't require me to use hotspot so that part doesn't really matter to me

My previous workplace (MNC) supplies me with iPhone 8 with iPad Air 2 then 3 years later I got upgraded to iPhone XR with iPad Pro 10.5 which I easily get used to
My current workplace is stingy (local company). RM2000 is the maximum amount they're willing to pay for my phone

All this time I always thought, why need to pay so much for a phone. So I always stick with Xiaomi's for my personal device
But seeing the decline of Xiaomi device support got me re-thinking of how long my iPad Air 2 was supported by Apple

Either someone is messing with your phone / Google Play account
Or your phone is infected

Strongly advise you to do a clean install

If your Mi 11 is a Xiaomi Malaysia unit and it's less than 2 years old, you can RMA it since Mi 11 carries 2 year warranty

Mi A3 is a 3 year old phone
I doubt any of them have ready stock. Have to place order first

Last time my younger brother tried to get his Poco F1 screen replaced, had to wait 2 weeks because they no longer keep stock for the replacement screen

Have bad experience with batteries purchased online
None of them supports quickcharge

They advertise as original Xiaomi battery. But it's not

Just got 13.0.5.0 for my Mi 11
Just a security update applying October security patch. No other fixes

Something weird happened to my Mi 11 today
The battery was at 15% then I connected a QuickCharge charger (18W) then suddenly the battery level goes to 4% and starts charging from there instead of starting to charge at 15%

Anyone else seen this before?

Finally got 5G on my Mi 11
Using Digi, have to buy add-on in the MyDigi app
Once SMS is received, restart my phone and boom. 5G enabled

Not eligible for Prepaid users
