Is your region set to Malaysia?
What about your keyboard language? Which language did you set?

region set to malaysià , lànguàge is UK english and chinese simplified.

Try change the language to US english..

OR

check the GBoard setting --> Language.. Make sure you choose QWERTY as your setting and not the others...

Problem solve after i change my keyboard to Microsoft SwiftKey.... Now can use it as normal.... BTW thank for the help..

Your issue is a really strange one
I'm using GBoard on my Mi 11 & I don't have this issue
And I don't see others complaining about this in the MIUI forum as well

Have you tried resetting the GBoard app?

Yes... I also feel strange why this happen... But problem solve now.... Did reset GBoard but not working..

Yes due to US sanction I think.... now CN ROM cannot install GMS

I didnt. Im planning on buying import set of k40 pro, which is from china and using chinese rom. If i change it to global rom, is it ok? Is there anything i need to take precaution? Like bugs, or apps not working, or wont get updates anymore, or any possibility

K40 Pro doesn't have a global ROM

Just add a few more bucks to get the official Xiaomi Malaysia Mi 11 lah
You get 2 year warranty + 1 year screen protection

Yeah, seems like they want to push the highest variant/108mp of the k40 series for the global market. While the lowest variant with 48mp & sd 870 is rebranded to the poco f3. Dont know if there will even be the middle spec (64mp) variant for global market
