If you tried once and then gave up, i think you better try again.. haha. i tried 2 times before getting it right the first time years ago, although i didnt do it on a laptop but on my pc. xD If you failed at the software part I think its not that hard to get it right, just make sure the physical part of installation is right. xD If you're really not sure then better get a professional to help you.
