wow, spend rm7k use 9400? will it be wasted biggrin.gif

basically.....from the eyes...can v differentiat the difference between 9400 and 9600 display quality in desktop mode or any pics/movies?

i was thinking everytime...

base MB rm4899 -->highend MB rm5899--> base MBPrm7199

can see the price hike in each model....which worth of spending?

when normal usage why switch to 9600? jz for surfing the internet, hear song etc... switch to 9600 jz a waste of electric power, and it create alot of heat. When i need it, only i will switch it...

er... i cant diff it. in term of display quality should be the same... jz performance difference...

1 question, when using real player, the process of maximizing the movie window seem laggy... even with 9600. anyone noe why? hope u guys understand wat i'm saying.

hmm... depend la bro, u should chose either one that fit ur needs.. but if money is not a prob then go for mbp... larger and better viewing angle screen and gpu. (yes, heavier)

yes, this is not bad at all... the extra 1k plus can spend on additional ram or maybe accessories..
i spend around 300 more adi for accessories, cooler, sleeve and full body skin(will get it soon)

hi guys,

i am a fellow macbook pro user (2.2 gHz processor). just want to share this with u guys. i bought my MBP on february this year and have been using it frequently ever since (for work and play). i just brought back my MBP from the service centre. in less than a year, here are parts that malfunctioned and needed replacement: system board, DVD rom and adapter.

because it's still under warranty, apple had all the parts replaced promptly for free. the thing is, i just can't help to wonder if MBPs more problematic compared with other Apple models? do u guys have hardware malfunctions on your MBP in less than a year?

i suppose i have to purchase the apple care protection plan soon. i bought it for my imac but it never malfunctioned. any ideas how much is the ACP for MBPs in malaysia? (i work overseas)

NOTE: i am not a new mac user. i also have an ibook G4 and a 24" iMac - so far i never had a problem with both models despite heavy usage.

checked with GPU-Z core show this

is this normal?? the GPU clock are same with default when in idle. is it suppose to auto lower down the clock speed when idle?

true.. but ACP is also very expensive. doh.gif i guess if the machine does breaks down (touchwood) then the purchase of ACP is justified. wink.gif

or the graphic card just a main purpose to boost the picture quality for photo editors only?

guys, my mbp is like 13 months old.
and my coconut battery said:

current battery capacity 1315 mAh
original battery capacity 5600 mAh

vurrent battery charge 1012 mAh
maximum battery charge 1315 mAh

does that mean my battery is going to die soon?

Ya.. It does look bad. But try calibrating it, should bring it up, if not, ask for a replacement if it's under warranty. Check you battery load cycle as well, if it is very high, then it's probably normal, but if its still low then it's not. I would suggest you use your System Profiler to check the battery load cycle count, Coconut Battery sometimes isn't accurate in that.

er... i don think u see the difference between two...
yes, i think the gpu jz to boost performance while video editing or maybe gaming only... in term of picture quality maybe the same,jz maybe u will get more smooth playback if u use 9600 watching HD.
