Bro, point 7 - mini led and Qled, is the same?

Why stay away from Panasonic?

MiniLED and QLED is different. You probably need to do a lot of crazy reading like some other to know what these are.

Honestly, the advice by anonymous4privacy above sounds like the simplest/easiest I can give most people also. Pick a budget and then pick a model from Samsung, Sony, LG.

Even reading reviews online can end up being more confusing because these brands don’t release the same thing across the world. Why you read as an amazing panel in US sites may end up being crap in Malaysia.....and you actually pay more for it in Malaysia.

About Panasonic, I actually disagree about staying away. Their flagship GZ2000 is the best OLED TV in terms of picture processing. It’s just that the flagship was never sold in Malaysia, and I don’t see any reviews on their lower end models.

TO OP, I agree with what most ppl said about OLED. If your budget can stretch to 6k, those 55” LG CX models from last year is the best you can get.

OLED is a straightforward but expensive choice. All other LCDs, you have to deal with a headache inducing mess of spec - some which are unknown.

I just started my research and oh boy, there is so much to read...very pening! I'm not in a rush so i'll keep narrowing down my options.

My goal :65 - 75 inch TV

OLED, dont think I can afford it, for 65 inch and above.

Still need to check some reviews and see what if the best model I can get.

Max budget is RM8k. Plus minus 500.

I would like it to last me at least 10 years.

Honestly, I don’t think any tv will last you the full 10 years without major degradation.

OLEDs will probably degrade faster than LCDs, so choose LCD if you want long life. Having said that, my old budget Samsung LCD lasted about 7 years before the screen started to lose brightness. It happened over large areas of the screen - all colors seem to fade to white.

That pretty much applies for all electronics really....7 years max life...spending more money doesn’t solve that by the way....
