QUOTE(xxboxx @ Aug 26 2007, 04:13 PM) You do realise that most sunroofs these days have a vent/tilt function, so when you park in the sun you can leave it vented and it significantly reduces the heat inside the car, because as we all know, hot air rises up? Sometimes on hot days I tend to leave it vented while driving, also. Many cars also have dual layer sunroofs, with a tinted outer glass layer and an inner opaque sliding hatch, which prevents heat and light from entering the cabin. So no, it doesn't make you can any more of an oven than the rest of the glass on your car. I'm fairly certain that heat transmission via the front windscreen is a heck of a lot more than a small hole in the roof. And a stick-on sunroof is just trying too hard This post has been edited by Roland San: Aug 27 2007, 10:50 AM |

QUOTE(young_soul @ Aug 27 2007, 12:32 PM) yeah, open it in the parking area...let everyone throw rubbish or possibly break open the sunroof with bare hands and hotwire the car yeah, the gap is big enough for people to throw rubbish. cos we're only talking about 1cm. and yeah, like it's the kind of car that can be hotwired... hehaaehhaehaha it will be damn friggin weird..........................but not bad cool idea for those who have not tried sun roof...dont really like the real thing cause even with the cover on the heat still easily gets thru the glass into the car......not only that the stupid rubber need to replace otherwise leaks when rain, cause these conti cars rubber not made for kl weather...stupid manufacturer
