This case is not even a year. She already suffered during the first trial and after 2 years things supposed to be back to normal but now have to restart trial again.

Usually the higher court e.g. High Court would be very RELUCTANT to allow an appeal except where there's an error in law. Since this is a straightforward case, it's very strange to allow the appeal by Prosecution.

The Magistrate is the one hearing through the all the actual evidence throughout the trial. Including the testimony and demeanor of the witnesses. So, she should be the one in the best position to render a verdict.

Unfortunately this is Malaysia...
Hopefully High Court can give a written verdict as to why they accepted the appeal by Prosecution.
