You can try getting latest version of thaiphoon burner and see. Mine used to be showing ???? but after getting latest version, I can see mine is DJR.

already download and install with the latest ver 16.5.0.3 build 0125 Final, still showing error and cannot read. i think the only resolve is to reinstall windows.
I got a feeling that my RAM is samsung OEM or what not.

ok, i just check that mostly our ram speed is 2133/2400MHz @ 1.2V, timings 15-15-15-36 at default, so when we enable xmp in bios, with XMP is 3200MHz @ 1.35V, timings 16-18-18-36 , so it's 40% to 50% overclock. correct me if i were wrong.

Ah I see.. interesting.
XMP is all overclock. It is generally what we called sanctioned OC as the manufacturer has tested and somewhat validated that the kit can run at that speed and voltage in general setup. Thus a better cpu/motherboard configuration can potentially extract even more.
*
ahh, ok. so that's mean i've already oc the "stabil" stage setting at bios which is the xmp 1.0. My m/b bios cannot set xmp 2.0 as there is no option for it. i guess it need certain requirement like good m/b and CPU i think.

Xmp 1 and xmp 2 profiles are stored on RAM by manufacture.

Look into bios settings.

Or what mobo you using? Someone could help here.

i've already checked bios only have 1 profile which is xmp 1.0 and my motherboard is Gigabyte B560M AORUS PRO AX
processor is i5-11400F, GPU is AMD Radeon RX570.

It depends on the ram. But both generally just loads a set profile of  speed, primary timing and voltage. So technically no difference.  You are better off with manual adjustments, when you have more confidence after reading more guides ... or get someone to do for you lolol.

ok bro, thx for clarification

You can follow what piscesguy did at going gear 1:1 to get some extra latency performance. Maybe even set your command rate to 1 as most motherboard xmp will run at 2. And most importantly drop your vccsa/imcvccio voltages

ok sure, will look into it too, thx

what are the 2 XMP profiles that you are expecting? to get XMP 2.0 working, i think you need luck with gigabyte's bios.
*
maybe your are right, maybe bios need to update or what not. i actually user from 4th generation intel so i just exposed this xmp and gear ratio feature. so i still slowly taking my time to understand all this. If can enable or push a little , i think will try it out, otherwise i just leave it at it is as default or auto.

thx
