My tyre size is 225/45R19.

Quite comfortable considering the 45 profile.

However, not many choice of tyres for this size

225/45 is still 10.1cm sidewall so still reasonably comfortable. Once you start to drop below 10cm then will feel a bit stiff, and below 9.5cm then will feel quite harsh.

Switching to normal ones will surely give you noticeable improvement in comfort. Btw how come you change tires so fast?? I thought not so long ago you asked and changed already, no?

I'm using Falken Azenis FK510,

The sidewalls are considerably softer, attributing to the comfort.

Very competent grip & handling on wet conditions.

Indeed. This would be my benchmark for the best compromise between comfort & performance.

My other choice of size would be 245/40R19, which retains the same sidewall height.

I'm running Michelin PS4S on one ride and Yokohama V701 on another..

Honestly, for me, Michelin is one of the better ones that I've used but for a daily beater the V701 is pretty good..

I've tried Pireli PZeros and it hunts on uneven roads..

Yeah 9.8-10cm sidewall is also my borderline, wouldn't want to go lower than that. Best is keep between 10-11cm.

As for tires recommendation, I'd also suggest the Falken Fk510 especially for 19' because have heard many good reviews on it and the price range is much more affordable for 19' especially considering it's still made in Japan.

I'm on 19" too, falken fk510 is indeed quite good between handling with comfort. If you want maximum grip, ps4s still the best choice.

BTW, what ride and what is the original tire size?
I believe we need more information to properly recommend.
As tires itself also got many different type from UHP, SUV type and also different width & height even for 19".

For what car is this? 275/35 is much taller than 245/35 though, 275/30 could be a better match.

275 only for the rear, from 265 ..... for an E90 M3.

275/35 will give you 9.6cm sidewall while your front at 245/35 only has 8.6 cm so the rear will look visibly thicker. What were the stock sizes?

What was mentioned earlier are the stock specs. Slightly thicker makes no difference visually for me.

Ic, any reason why you're considering to go up to 275?

With my aggressive corner habits, I need more rear grip coz it can be a tad loose at times .. I've seen some going up to 265 front and 295 rear on the E9x M3. And 305 rear for F80 M3 laugh.gif I ain't that crazy just yet. I like mine practical, even though the car is my weekend car.
